Introduction

The Perak Ceramic Arts Association (Persera), Registration Number PPM-001-08-06042016, formerly known as the Perak Ceramic Entrepreneurs Association (PERSERA), is a non-governmental organization that serves as the umbrella body, coordinator, and primary reference center for the development of ceramics in all aspects, including product development, design, production, and marketing, with consideration of local artistic elements. We empower and uphold the professionalism of our members in the field of ceramics, while fostering relationships with other organizations that share similar goals and organizing programs for mutual benefit.  

Vision:
To be the leading driving force in the development of ceramic art in Perak, serving as a creative hub that inspires and encourages the growth of local ceramic art, while shaping the community’s cultural perception of art and heritage.

Mission:

1. To strengthen the cultural and ceramic art connection within the Perak community by developing programs that provide opportunities for the public to cultivate awareness of artistic and cultural values and promote appreciation of local ceramic art heritage.

2. To enhance the skills of members in the ceramic field, setting a standard of excellence.

3. To connect ceramic artists and entrepreneurs with a broad network to advance the art as a whole.

4. To provide information and guidance to various stakeholders on the development of ceramic artists and entrepreneurs.

5. To coordinate ceramic art and entrepreneurial activities within Perak for mutual benefit.
